Dalmain Fortuin, more inspiringly knows as LadyD, is a resilient motivational speaker, career coach, entrepreneur and philanthropist. Confronted with the threats of gangsterism and drug abuse, she saw the need to pursue a purpose driven life and gracefully avoided all odds in order to emerge and become the a prominent figure of society in her hometown of Port Elizabeth, South Africa. .

Despite facing numerous obstacles, including being diagnosed with Bipolar Type 1, Depression, and Stress, LadyD continues to rise above her challenges. Her remarkable story is a testament to her unwavering determination and perseverance.

With 16 years of working experience, LadyD has excelled in various roles, including Store Manager, Financial Advisor, Branch Manager, and Risk Compliance Manager. Equipped with 10 years of finance and debt management experience, combined with personal struggles and triumphs, have enabled her to empower others.

As a successful entrepreneur, LadyD owns and operates several businesses, including AJ Function Hire and Events, YT Printing Services, BeautyBoldBraveByLadyD, BBBbyLadyD-Boutique, and Divine Cleaning Services SA. Her mission is to create job opportunities and empower the youth in South Africa. 

LadyD has been trading forex for approximately two years, and strives to empower the youth to engage in the skill to learn financial stability, discipline, consistency and aims to use forex trading as a tool to fight poverty, drug abuse, crime and youth unemployment in communities. 

As a community activist, LadyD had been active in community projects such as a toiletry drive to the local Dora Nginza Psychiatric ward, school shock drive to the Missionvale Primary school, sanitary pad drive to young girls in the Missionvale community in Port Elizabeth. She done a free CV drive for 3 consecutive years since 2021 providing free CVs for unemployed individuals to have the opportunity to apply for jobs with ease. Over approximately 300 free CVs had been typed and printed through this project. LadyD believes in giving back to the community and aims to have more future outreach programs. In 20222, she established a NPO( Non Profit Organisation) Young Mommies Community, for single mothers struggling and in need of advice in motherhood, challenges faced by society and how to overcome the perception of financial burdens securing only one income or no income and abuse in all sorts. In 2020 prior to COVID 19, LadyD established a Matric initiative program, to assist Grade 12 learners with their Tertiary applications, school assignments, matric farewell assistance for the less disadvantaged learners. The program started successfully, and ended due to the pandemic. She formed part of the local community Crime prevention neighborhood watch in Missionavale during 2021-2022. She still continues to motivate, inspire and encourage women both young and old through her leadership skill on social media platforms. A true leader and role model to many young children, girls, women and also male individuals.

All community projects LadyD drives are from funds obtained from her salary, businesses and forex trading profits. LadyD also collaborates with the local ward Councilor, delivering various services to the community. 

LadyD's personal story is one of remarkable resilience. She has attempted suicide and faced near-death experiences. Yet, she continues to rise above her challenges, inspiring countless individuals through her leadership, mentorship, and community involvement.
